Job Description

JOB PROFILE
 1. Marketing & Business Dev activities in states as specified in North Indian States
 2. Developing Strategy, tactics, Sales plan and profit target, documentation in coordination with Head office India.
 3. Business Planning, Budget and Monitoring, Promotion, pricing strategy for Kumar’s product and trading products
 4. Increasing market share in existing markets & maximize new business development opportunities.
 5. Identifying and reporting on Business opportunities in the target region
 6. Promotion of the product and providing Technical support Services to customer in coordination with Marketing Team (Product Co-owners)
 7. Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
 8. Monitoring customer orders, Invoice; dispatch and shipment etc of the assigned Region
 9. Market Research : Identification & development of potential customers; maintaining customer & competitors database of the Region
 10. Exhibiting & Participating in Trade shows & Exhibitions Sample dispatches to all customers handled in the region. Follow-up for dispatch as per schedule. To plan and visit customers in the region on a routine and regular basis by self initiative and as per direction of reporting officer. Strictly Adhering to CRM entry on daily basis. All client/customer communication need to be entered strictly and weekly review will be conducted as per CRM entries. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Breakdown of Duties & Responsibilities : Business Development (40%) 
1. Understand the regional market structure’s economics, growth, trends, opportunities, value chain, customers and competitive environment.
2. Contract negotiations, competitive/market information, crisis management, customer/product action plans, and customer communications to align with the business/product strategies. 
3. Follow up on new leads and opportunities, prioritize projects and commercialize projects to achieve sales growth each year. 
4. Increase market intelligence by bringing information around industries, competitors and customers back into the organization. 

Sales (40%) 
1. Identify, negotiate, and close new opportunities for all KOPL and trading products 
2. Understand market trends and customer needs, applying this knowledge to key customer targets 
3. Develop and implement strategic account-specific plans to build customer relationships and business 
4. Existing account maintenance and business growth 
5. Price negotiations with all customers in territory 
6. Support the organic growth of the KOPL and trading Product portfolio in the Personal Care, Cosmetics and Coatings segment 
7. Opportunity Management –. Actively manage all territory new business opportunities and activities within Fippon. As required, report out/up each opportunity’s status. Drive opportunities to closure in collaboration with relevant functions (Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Legal, etc.) and in concert with overarching business strategies. To follow Fippon for all activities customer calls, in person meeting and sales/marketing promotion/exhibitions, conferences etc. 
8. Administrative – Maintain accuracy of product/customer forecasts and remedy variances as requested. Submit internal reports (account Plans, call reports & monthly updates) as required including reporting of any key intelligence data collected, monthly sales projections. Consistently utilize Fippon in conjunction with business team needs. Fulfill territory obligations in strict observance of travel and budget. 

Marketing (20%) 
1. Relationship Management – Maintain and develop relationships with customers and distributors at different organizational levels. Align customer needs with KOPL’s capabilities in order to yield economically sustainable value growth. Represent KOPL professionally at industry events (exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings. 
2. Strategic Alignment – Enable the business team’s short, medium, and long-term objectives for accounts, applications, channels, and markets. Work closely with marketing to align marketing strategies within the individual business segments.
