Job Description

1. Handle operations of our computer systems with good typing speed 
2. Set controls on computers and other devices, respond accordingly when errors occur and maintain records of job runs
3. Analyze common issues and take steps to reduce or eliminate them, and collaborate with other IT personnel  
4. Perform preventative maintenance on hardware and software, troubleshoot malfunctions and call for repairs as needed
5. Maintain equipment inventories and order supplies and hardware accordingly
6. Ensure the security and privacy of the system 
7. Associate’s degree or higher in computer science or related field
8. Excellent problem solving skills and data search saving skills 
9. The capability to work well in high-pressure situations
10. Great written and verbal communication ability
11. The willingness to learn the technical skills needed to manage our computer system, including use of network monitoring software and database software
